Why join our movement?

We are a small but mighty grassroots not-for-profit organisation fighting for the rights of all individuals to enjoy public spaces free from harassment. We are driven by the power of intersectional, community-led responses to street harassment. Our work includes awareness-raising campaigns, educational resources and workshops, and storytelling as means to challenge the normalisation of street harassment. Our team and board are a passionate community of anti-street harassment advocates, dedicated to fighting inequality and discrimination in all its forms.

Through the support of our incredible community and allies across Australia and internationally,  the strength in collective action drives much of our advocacy work. It allows us to achieve our mission of achieving street justice for all.

Our HQ is in Melbourne but we are based across Australia. We are currently not accepting applications from overseas candidates.

Our work culture

We’ve been able to continuously work towards our goals because we collectively exercise maturity of judgment, open communication, are respectful always, and practice thoughtfulness and sensitivity when it comes to our work and each other. This holds true at all levels of governance at INAC and is something we are very proud of!  Our work culture allows us to design, develop and execute projects that continue to centre the voices of the community while staying true to our organisational values.

We are a team that is made up of people who love innovation, are keen to develop organisational and individual skillsets, and are initiative takers. We also are a team that loves celebrating wins with cake!

Joining us is a commitment to upholding our organisational values and work culture.
