Interested in creating something special for our blog? We welcome people from all walks of life to share their thoughts on street harassment and add their creativity and voices to this important conversation. We just have a few guidelines to keep in mind.

The submission should have a link to street harassment, intersectionality and/or inequality. Written pieces should centre around experiences of street harassment especially.

We accept:

  • Written articles: 300-600 words

  • Interviews or features: 800-1000 words

  • Photography or video collections

  • Poetry

Submissions can be personal experience essays, opinion pieces or involve visual storytelling. We also ask that written pieces have hyperlinks to sources instead of formal academic referencing (footnotes and bibliographies). Please ensure you have fact-checked and spell-checked your work.

Feel free to include properly credited images or other multimedia and a short bio up to 50 words about yourself. Alternatively, you can let us know if you would like to remain anonymous.

As INAC is run by a group of volunteers, we unfortunately cannot provide remuneration for any submitted work.

Please send through your submissions to our email:

We can’t wait to hear from you! If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in contact via the email above.
